Colombo scene for Desmond’s tribute concert!

Desmond de Silva’s tribute concert, held in Sydney, Australia, on 11th February, 2023, was a resounding success.

The dinner-dance concert featured several well-known personalities, from Colombo.

I’m now told that the tribute concert will be held in Colombo, as well, on 8th July, at the BMICH.

Sri Lankans, in London, will also be able to experience this tribute concert…on 9th September.

In the meanwhile, a CD has been released by DK Promotions, highlighting Desmond’s final live performance, in Colombo, at the BMICH, on 31st August, 2019.

The CD features tracks of the songs he did at this concert, including duets with Mariazelle, and Ishan Bahar.

Retro band, Vision, managed by DK Productions, provided the music that saw the late Desmond move into top gear, the very moment he appeared on stage…at his final live performance, in his land of birth.
