Colombo North take lead

Manudhi Nanayakkara of Colombo South has smashed 109 runs in three games, but her team is struggling in fourth place in Western Province as SLC Women’s Under-23 District Tournament is underway all over the island.

Colombo North are leading the table followed by Gampaha and Kalutara. Colombo North are last in the group.

Meanwhile Risny Sanjana of Matara has taken nine wickets in five games as her team is placed second behind Galle as Southern and Uva Provinces have been put together in their competition. Ratnapura is placed third followed by Monaragala, Badulla and Hambantota.

In the Northern Province, Jaffna are leading the table followed by Manar, Kilinochchi, Vavuniya and Mulaitvu. In the North Western and North Central combined, Anuradhapura has taken the lead with Kurunegala placed second. In the Central and Eastern combined Kandy are the table toppers with Trincomalee in the second place.
