Colombo North remain unbeaten as Garuka takes five wickets
Colombo North completed their first round matches as the only unbeaten team as they beat Dambulla by eight wickets in the Sri Lanka Cricket conducted Inter Provincial Under 17 tournament match at Welagedara Stadium on Sunday.
Garuka Sanketh led the attack with a five wicket haul for Colombo North to restrict Dambulla to 117 runs before Sahan Dabare scored an unbeaten half century to secure the victory with 20 overs to spare.
In the other match played at Dambulla, Galle beat Kandy by four wickets as Dinura Kalupahana, Ravishan Nethsara and Dinura Abeywickrama scored half centuries for the team to reach a target of 243 runs with 14 overts to spare.
