CIP M’s 7th Great HR Quiz 2023: A triumph of knowledge and collaboration

The 7th Great HR Quiz 2023 of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), was a hallmark event fostering knowledge exchange and camaraderie among HR professionals. Hosted at Hotel Galadari, Colombo, the competition saw 65 teams competing, marking it as a significant display of workplace intellect.

Siam City Cement Lanka Ltd clinched the ‘CIPM Great HR Quiz 2023 Champions’ title, while IFS Sri Lanka R&D International (Pvt) Ltd and Ansell Lanka (Pvt) Ltd secured 1st and 2nd Runner-up positions respectively. The Quiz Master, C. Hewapattini, led the challenging quiz.

Nalin Karunaratne and Anura Siriwardena graced the event as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively, highlighting the importance of knowledge exchange in HR. CIPM President Ken Vijayakumar and other members were also present.

Assessment of the competition was by judges Senior Professor Ajantha Dharmasiri, Dhammika Fernando, and Professor A. Sarveswaran. Strategic sponsorships for the competition was from Nippon Paint Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, PickMe, and Wild Drift.
