CINEC Innovation and Invention Exhibition 2023 exceeds 15,000 visitors

Students and teachers from government and private schools in Colombo and suburbs participated at the event

CINEC 2023 innovation and invention exhibition was held successfully at CINEC Campus Malabe on 27th, 28th and 29th July 2023.The event was graced by Prof. Chandana P. Udawatte Vice Chairman of UGC Sri Lanka, Head of mission from diplomatic corps, officials from Ministry of Education, Principals from leading schools from Colombo and western province and many other guests from government and private sectors. There were unprecedented number of students and teachers from government and private schools in Colombo and suburbs participating at this event stamping CINEC’s standing in the higher education sector.

Capt. Ajith Peiris President and Chairman along with the senior management, staff and students welcomed the visitors in grand opening ceremonies in all three days. A large number of innovative and inventive exhibits prepared exclusively by students of CINEC Campus from the faculties of Maritime Science, Maritime Engineering, Engineering and Technology, Management and Social Sciences, Education and Humanities, Health Science and Departments of ICT, Air Craft Maintenance Engineering and Industrial Engineering provide a rare opportunity of firsthand practical experience in multitudes of higher education disciplines and industry marvels focusing on latest global developments.
