CINEC Campus holds its third research symposium

The third research symposium of CINEC Campus titled “transforming innovation for sustainable development” was held at the Klaus E. Oldendorff auditorium of CINEC Campus, Malabe, recently.

Chairman of the University Grants Commission – Sri Lanka, Senior Professor Sampath Amaratunge was the chief guest of the event. The major objective of the international symposium was to provide a knowledge-based dialogue to deliver the most required policy measures and strategic management applications to strengthen sustainable development in Sri Lanka.

The symposium chair of the CIRS 2022 Professor (Dr.) Lalith Edirisinghe and the team in consultation with respective deans of six faculties created individual tracks for the plenary sessions well thought under the main theme given above. The idea of the symposium was initiated by Emeritus Professor Veranja Karunaratne, Consultant – academic affairs with CINEC’s visionary leader Capt. Ajith Peiris, Chairman and President of CINEC.
