Chit-Chat Tall, dark and handsome not her kind of guy

Madhushika Lakmali is a popular photographic model, on social media, and she makes her presence felt in a big way, with regular postings, and updates.

I had an interesting chit-chat with her, recently, and this is how it all went…

1. How would you describe yourself?

A kind of a sensitive person but, in general, I’m fun loving. I also need to say that I’m straightforward and would confront anyone, face-to-face! Maybe some people don’t like it, but people who understand me are always with me. One more thing: I’m a free decision-maker and I’m honest. I guess that’s a fair description of myself!

2. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I love the way I am and I am proud of myself. Anyway, if the possibilities are there, maybe a few inches more to my height!

3. If you could change one thing about your family, what would it be?

To be honest – absolutely nothing. I’m so happy with my homefolks and I wouldn’t look for any changes that could ruin the happiness we all experience now.

4. School?

Sri Rahula Maha Vidyalaya, Madiwela, Kotte.

5. Happiest moment?

Still to come…and that would be the day when I receive the keys to the latest model Mercedes Benz sports car! Lol. Jokes apart, happiness comes to me whenever I do something I fancy, especially when I go for photo shoots.

6. What is your idea of perfect happiness?

I don’t know about perfect happiness but, to me, happiness is doing something special for society – helping the poor, and needy.

7. Are you religious?

I’m not, but I do practice my religion and try my utmost to live up to the teachings of my creator.

8. Are you superstitious?

No. If one is superstitious, then life doesn’t run smoothly!

9. Your ideal guy?

The tall, dark, and handsome guy wouldn’t be in my listing. I would look at a guy who is loving, caring, considerate, and, of course, understanding.

10. Which living person do you most admire?

My mother, undoubtedly. She cares for me a great deal, very understanding, and loves me a lot. I, too, love her a lot.

11. Which is your most treasured possession?

The most treasured! My smile, my looks, my bubbly personality….

12. If you were marooned on a desert island, who would you like as your companion?

Oh, that would be a scary experience, but since I love Jesus, I’m sure he would be with me and guide me to safety. So, I would want Jesus as my companion.

13. Your most embarrassing moment?

Let’s see! Oh, yes, there was this live programme, and it happened to be my very first programme. I think it was the second question that the presenter put to me and I went dead silent. It was certainly an embarrassing moment for me.

14. Done anything daring?

I haven’t climbed Mount Everest as yet! Okay, I would say I am always full of adventure and to list all those daring moments would take a whole lot of your valuable space!

15. Your ideal vacation?

I love hiking but Japan pops up in my mind whenever I think of an overseas vacation.

16. What kind of music are you into?

My taste in music is wide and varied. Anyway, let’s say pop is my first choice.

17. Favourite radio station:

No particular station. I just keep moving the selection button around until I hear the music that I fancy.

18. Favourtie TV station:

Hiru TV is my preference.

19. What would you like to be born as in your next life?

One life is enough where I’m concerned.

20. Any major plans for the future?

Yes, to be a trend-setter, when it comes to clothes, and I am also looking at enhancing my modelling career, especially as a photographic model.
