Chief Internal Auditor’s Forum of Banks appoints new committee for 2023/24

The Chief Internal Auditor’s Forum of Banks appointed its 6th committee recently. The inaugural committee meeting was held on 11th October 2023. Numair Cassim (Amana Bank PLC) was appointed as the President, Varuna Koggalage (Seylan Bank) as Vice President, Dulan Abeyratne (HSBC) as Secretary, and Jayan Fernando (DFCC) as Treasurer. Others members of the committee include Charitha Jayawickrama [Sampath Bank (Immediate Past President)], Ruwani de Silva (NDB), Gayan Ranaweera (NTB), Jeremy de Zilva (PABC), Dhananjaya Dayananda (SDB), and Kusala Karunaratne (Cargills Bank).

The Forum was established to build strong relationships amongst the Licensed Commercial Banks and Licensed Specialized Banks in dealing with new developments and challenges pertinent to the industry.
