Changing ministers won’t help solve health sector problems – Namal

SLPP MP Namal Rajapaksa yesterday (19) said an investigation should be conducted and legal action taken against those responsible for the current health crisis. If there had been wrongdoings in the country’s health sector, they should be addressed, the MP said.

The former minister was commenting on the continuing controversy over medicinal drug imports to Sri Lanka. “A firm stand must be taken, as this is not the first time this issue has surfaced,” he said. Asked if the Health Minister must be replaced, MP Rajapaksa said that a change of ministers will not solve the problems.
