Ceylinco VIP to deliver vehicle insurance at customers’ doorsteps within 24 hrs
In yet another industry first, Ceylinco General Insurance announced that it will be introducing a new process to deliver Ceylinco VIP On The Spot vehicle insurance policies at customers’ doorsteps within 24 hours of receiving a call, at no extra cost, with effect from 2nd January 2024.
For the convenience of the customers who wish to avail of this service, the company has allocated a short code number, 1334, which could be dialed from any mobile / fixed line network. Customers could make use of this service 24 hours a day, seven days of the week. Accordingly, when a call is received to the hotline number 1334, information will be passed on to the branch closest to the customer on a real-time basis. Thereafter, the insurance cover will be delivered to any location preferred by the customer within 24 hours.
Director/ Chief Executive Officer, Rex Gunathilake said: “With the lifestyles of Sri Lankans becoming busier, this is a convenient option for all vehicle users. It could be a comprehensive cover for a high-end vehicle or even a third- party cover for a motorcycle. We deliver any type of cover to the doorstep of the customer within 24 hrs of receiving a call with no extra cost. This is the latest addition to the customer centric solutions we offer in keeping with our promises. We are confident that customers will make full use of this facility for which we have allocated a large amount of resources.”
