CEB’s Matara grid substation to be disconnected if water levels keep rising – Kanchana

Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera in a message on ‘X’  has said that power distribution from  CEB’s Matara grid substation will be disconnected as a precautionary measure if the water levels continue to rise.

He has also said that power to the affected areas in Matara will be reconnected from the Deniyaya and Beliatta substations.
