CB (Amendment) Bill second reading on 11 May

The second reading of the Central Bank (Amendment) Bill would be held on 11 May, Secretary-General of Parliament, Dhammika Dasanayake announced yesterday.He said that the parliament would meet between 09 and 11 May.

MPs will also debate the X-Press Pearl disaster on 10 may between 9.30 am and 6 pm, Dasanayake said.The decisions were taken by the Committee on Parliamentary Business that met yesterday, Chaired by the Speaker.
