Cabinet nod to obtain USD 200 million loan grant from World Bank

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the resolution furnished by the President in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies to enter into an agreement with the international development tribunal of the World Bank Group in order to obtain a loan grant of USD 200 million for the Aswesuma welfare benefit scheme (USD 185 million), to implement a pilot project to economically empower the selected beneficiaries (USD 7 million) and for strengthening the entire project management and social security system under the above project (USD 8 million)
