Cabinet nod for pilot project to improve water quality of Beira lake

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the combined proposal presented by the President in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies and the Minister of Urban Development and Housing to implement the proposed pilot project to improve the water quality of Beira Lake using micro–Nano Bubble Technology, Carbon Fiber Biofilm technology and environmentally friendly enzymes presented by Groepo Pte. Ltd. (GPL), a Singaporean company with Japanese ownership for a period of 5 years, subject to the necessary guidance of an expert committee consisting of experts on water quality from all universities in the country, representatives of all relevant testing institutions and other relevant institutions and to take a decision on the further implementation of the project, based on the results achieved.
