CA re-fixes Ranil’s petition challenging findings of Political Victimisation Commission to 26 Jan.

A petition filed by MP Ranil Wickremesinghe, the former Prime Minister and Leader of the UNP, was called before the Court of Appeal, and re-fixed for mention on 26 January, 2022.

The petitioner has complained against the findings of the Political Victimisation Commission. He has said the findings against him were baseless. He wants them quashed by a Writ of Certiorari.

Faiz Musatpaha PC, instructed by Vidana Pathirana Associates, appeared for the petitioner.
