BSC celebrates World Book Day, 2023

The British School in Colombo (BSC) celebrated the World Book Day, 2023 with a special programme under the theme ‘Meet an Author’ – a talk on creative writing and literature at the school auditorium recently.

The interactive session was conducted by Dr. Madhubhashini Disanayaka Ratnayake – Senior Lecturer and Former Head of the English Department of the Sri Jayewardenepura University.

Dr. Madhubhashini inspired the students to have a habit of reading from their young age and was able to plant some seeds in the minds of this enthusiastic group of students, who probably would turn into outstanding writers someday in their own profession.
