Bring good people into Govt.

There are so many who say the President must go home. Then what? Dissolve Parliament and go for elections? Will any of those options solve the present economic crisis? Not by any stretch of imagination.

The Country needs a set of practical economists, professionals from various disciplines and most importantly those who can think “outside the box”.

Do we have such amongst 225? Few may qualify but rest is history.

If the political parties have the country at heart, I can see one way of bringing good people into the Government. That is to use the national list to bring such into the system. Not stooges goons and kith and kin of present but total outsiders. National list provides a crystal -lear path to achieve this objective nevertheless there should be checks and balances.

If all political parties agree it can be done immediately.

One should be careful not to fall into the so -called “Arab Spring” scenario which now is more of an arctic winter.
