Brigadier Wijedasa releases autobiagraphy

Brigadier Sagara Ranjan Wijedasa recently released his autobiography Mihidan Novu Minisa at a soft launch at the Colombo International Book Fair.

Brigadier Wijedasa was a tanker of the 4 Armoured Regiment who played a pivotal role in the war against the LTTE. The tanker was severely wounded in the battle in Puliyankulam and lost his left arm as a result. The book contains gripping stories about his battlefield heroics and the bitter experiences he and his collegues had to endure during the civil strife. At present Wijedasa is a senior directing staff of the National Defence College and and serves as an instructor.
