The Commission to Investigate allegations of Bribery or Corruption has filed indictments against Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella, the Minister of Health, and SLPP MP Johnston Fernando.

Keheliya Rambukwella is alleged to have purchased GI pipes for the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation when he was the Minister of Media, and misused the money of the Rupavahini Corporation.

Two indictments were filed in the High Court of Colombo against Rambukwella. They are to be called in court shortly.

Two of the five indictments against Johnston Fernando have already been called before Court. He has been granted surety bail but barred from leaving the country.
