Bravo Ukraine!

Ukraine is giving as much as they are getting. In 2014 when Russia invaded Crimea, it was plain sailing. Not so today. The resistance offered by Ukraine is much more than Russia anticipated. The Ukraine forces are amply supported by the civilians armed with guns and improvised grenades. The Ukranian President who was a comedian before, is at the forefront, providing morale-boosting leadership.

There are many lessons to be learnt from this grim picture unfolding. The neighbouring countries like Poland and Romania, are opening their doors to complete strangers who come as destitute refugees. Food, clothing, etc., are heaping up.Ukranian males in foreign lands are trying to get back home to defend their homeland and not the other way as it happens in so many other places. Usually people find excuses to avoid conscriptions.
