Boost to Sri Lankan tourism

The grand finale for the titles of Mr. Sri Lanka, Miss Sri Lanka and Mrs. Sri Lanka will take place at the Grand Excelsior Hotel Dubai on May 13th. There were more than 150 applications from which 36 contestants are taking part for the finale.

Miss, Mr. and Mrs. Sri Lanka will be held in Dubai in UAE for the first time on May 13. This pageant will give a boost to Sri Lanka as a tourist destination said Rafealla Fernando, pageant organiser, international recognised photographer and a fashion icon

Suranga Fernando and Ishi Peiris, husband and wife duo are the pageant directors, and founders a beauty salon in Italy, husband and wife duo were responsible for the first Mrs Sri Lanka in Europe in Verona Italy. They were also responsible for many prestigious events, like Flashbag live in concert, in Verona 2012, Halloween Fashion Night, Sri Lankan bridal elegance in 2018 in Italy and many other events.

Rafealla Fernando, International Consultant and advisor to the show said many high profile personalities have served as the panel of judges, the Mayor of Colombo Sri Lanka Rosy Senanayake, Srimali Fonseka, Keosh Hewage, and many others of international fame.
