BMICH launches Corporate Anthem in Celebration of its 50th Anniversary
BMICH, Sri Lanka’s most recognisable and iconic landmark launched its corporate anthem in commemoration of its 50th Anniversary, which was celebrated recently. The anthem was sung by the BMICH Staff Choir during the celebration which was witnessed by President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, Chairperson of the Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation (BNMF) former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga and other dignitaries.
“We are honoured to launch the corporate anthem during the 50th Anniversary Celebrations and it was very special as the anthem was vocalised by our very own staff choir.” said Sunil Dissanayake – Chief Executive of BMICH.
Set in a sprawling site, 15 well laid out and spacious car parks that can accommodate 3,000 vehicles at a given time, and well-maintained landscaped gardens, BMICH is Sri Lanka’s largest and Asia’s very first purpose-built convention centre with ultra-modern facilities. It is situated in one of the most prestigious locations in Colombo. BMICH won the South Asian Travel Award (SATA) Gold in 2016, Silver in 2017, and Gold again in 2018, 2019, 2020 & 2022. In 2016 BMICH also won the Quality ERA Geneva Gold Award and the Platinum Award in Paris in 2017.
