Yes, Sri Lankans were very much in the news, at the grand opening of a new branch of Dwellings Estate Agents, in Narre Warren, Victoria.

This important, and prestigious, occasion, was graced by the Australian Assistant Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Jason Wood.

Wood was the Chief Guest, while the other important dignitaries present, included Thelmo Languiller, Brand Ambassador for Dwellings Group and Former Speaker of the Victorian Parliament, Don Susantha Katugampala, Founder and Principal, Fairfield Lawyers, Professor Priyan Mandis of the University of Melbourne, and Josh Cunningham, Sales Manager, Hermitage Homes.

Religious ceremonies, as part of the Sri Lankan culture, were held earlier during the day, at the premises, to invoke blessings on the new office.

Dwellings Group has been serving the community for more than 10 years.

The branch, at Narre Warren, was opened to help the growing client needs in the South Eastern Suburbs, of Victoria.

It was, indeed, an immensely proud moment for the Sri Lankan partners concerned – Sanjika Abeyratna, Theekshana Somarathne and Dunstan Paul Rozairo.

According to reports, coming our way, the Sri Lankans, in this particular scene, have got a huge clientele, and their work is said to be excellent.
