Bharatha Natya Arangetram of Suvasthiga Suveendran and Durgka Asokan

Natya Kala Mandhir was founded in 1976 by “Kalasuri” Vasugy Jegatheeswaran and has been producing many talented and professional dancers for a span of 45 years. Through these years, the dedicated and experienced dancers of Natya Kala Mandhir showed talents winning the acclaim of audience nationally and internationally. As Natya Kala Mandhir celebrating its 45th year, Suvasthiga Suveendran and Durgka Asokan will stage their debut performance, ‘Aranga Pravesam’, under the guidance of their Guru Vasugy Jegatheeswaran at Saraswathie Hall, Bambalapitiya on December 18, 2021.

Chief Guest for the evening will be Attorney General Sanjay Rajaratnam, PC. The Guests of Honour will be Principal Ladies College Mrs. Eesha Speldewinde, and Deputy Principal Gateway College Anthony Chelliah. The recital is Choreographed and directed by the renowned personality in the field of Bharatha Natyam Kalasuri Vasugy. Accompanied by well-known Artistes; Vocalist –Arunathy Aarooran, Miruthangam –Kannadhasan, Violin –Thibaharan, Flute – Priyantha and Thalatharangam –Ratnadurai.
