Beware roving vendors could be coronavirus carriers!

Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said that some itinerant vendors in the Western Province had been found to be infected with the coronavirus.
DIG Rohana said that 657 mobile vendors in the Western Province were inspected on Saturday. Random Rapid Antigen Tests were conducted on 114 such roving vendors and two were found to be infected with the coronavirus.
Special operations were also conducted on beaches and other public places and several people were found to have violated the quarantine laws, the DIG said.
