Asia Pacific regional scout workshop in Colombo

The Asia Pacific Region of the World Organisation of Scout Movement will hold the Membership Growth Scout Meet hosted by Sri Lanka Scout Association from 13 to 17 September 2023 at Movenpick Hotel, Colombo 3.

Sixteen countries from the Asia Pacific Region have confirmed their participation.

The Meet will discuss the ways and means to increase the Membership in the member countries and the retention of existing members.

The Opening Ceremony will be held on Wednesday 13 September 2023 at 9.30 a.m.

Minister of Foreign Affairs M.U.M. Ali Sabry PC will be the Chief Guest.

The Organising Team under the Direction of the Asia Pacific Region Director Prasanna Shrivastava and Chief Scout Commissioner of Sri Lanka Attorney at Law Janaprith Fernando are making elaborate arrangements to have a successful workshop.

The Workshop Director is Headquarters Commissioner Saminda Jayasekera.

Headquarters Commissioner Dr. Asanka Eriyawa will function as Programme Coordinator and Asst. Chief Commissioner Air Vice Marshal (retd.) Andrew Wijesuriya will be the Admin Coordinator.
