Army mobile vaccine service excellent

In order to get the 2nd dose of the Covid jab for my wife, who very recently underwent a non-invasive surgery on her leg, I had to contact the Call Centre for the Army mobile vaccination, situated at Rajagiriya, on their Hotline 1906. The Call Centre gave me a mobile number to contact the mobile van operating in the Western Province.

When I contacted the mobile van last Thursday, I was requested to send my Google map showing the current location.  On Friday morning around 9.30 am, one officer in Army fatigue and two others in PPE visited my residence, and gave the Covid jab to my wife pronto! (Before administering the vaccine, they inquired from my wife whether she has any allergic reaction, etc., and thereafter advised us not to wet the place where the injection was given).

My wife, Fathima Zuhriya, wants to thank President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and General Shavendra Silva, Head, National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, for the excellent service rendered by the Army in administering the Covid vaccine.
