Aragalaya groups clash at TT:10 rushed to hospital
Some victims suffer cut injuries

The Kollupitiya police had commenced investigations into a clash between two groups of Aragalaya activists occupying the Prime Minister’s official residence, Temple Trees, in the early hours of yesterday, police said.
Police sources said 10 people had been injured and taken to hospital after a fight that broke out between two groups at Temple Trees in Kollupitiya.
The clash took place yesterday morning and the injured were admitted to the National Hospital, Colombo. Among the injured were nine men and a woman.
Some of the victims had received cut injuries while some others had sustained injuries from blunt weapons, hospital sources said, adding that two of the injured protesters had been discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment.
The Kollupitiya Police have launched prob into the incident after it was reported by the police unit at the National Hospital.
