Aquarius…new scene in 2022

Aquarius, although not much in the news, these days, have had their fair share of performances, in the pandemic-hit scene here.

Led by their dynamic bassist, Benjy Ranabahu, they have been doing the club scene (not on a regular basis) and some private events, as well.

They didn’t look for work, on 31st night, as, according to Benjy, he wants to make sure that they now plan out something extra special for music lovers. And, they are working on that goal.

There are two new faces in the present six-piece line-up – Sid Peris (frontline vocalist), and Raffi (on keyboards).

Raffi, says Benjy, was with Aquarius when they performed in Dubai, on a long-term contract.

“We are now working on a repertoire, and an act, that will give the public something to talk about,” said Benjy.
