APIIT breaks through intl debate awards

Two teams representing Moot Debate and Mock Mediation Society of APIIT Law School, successfully participated in the International Tamil Debate Competition organized by the University of Malaysia Terengganu, and emerged champions beating 46 University teams representing Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and India. The winning team comprised of Mayureshan Sathiyaseelan, Pirathayinie Sriragavarajan, Saishruthe Thayaparan and Khowshigan Mathiyalagan.

The second edition of the competition Piala Debat Tamil Andrangasaba was organized by University of Malaysia Terengannu in collaboration with Indian Cultural Unit – Malaysia, Tamil Siragugal- India, Thigada Chakra- Sri Lanka and Baratham Panpaatu Kalaham- UMT.

The second team of APIIT Law School comprised of Mohammed Shadhique Akeela Banu, Venuja Ketheeswaren, Danushan Sujeevan and Keziah Lakshi Logaraj was ranked among the top sixteen. Both teams were coached by Niksalan Krishnapillai.
