Ankara donates consignment of urgently needed medical supplies to Sri Lanka

As part of her enterprising and humanitarian foreign policy, the Government of the Republic of Turkey is donating urgent medical equipment and medicines to the Government of Sri Lanka to ease the hardship faced by the Sri Lankan people during these challenging times.

The first consignment, including urgent medicines, arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport, on 14 August 2022. The donation was handed over to a senior official of the Ministry of Health of Sri Lanka by the Embassy officials, on arrival at the airport.

As a friendly country, Turkey will continue to provide her support to Sri Lanka during these difficult times and will always stand by the Sri Lankan people at present and in the future.
