An independent trust to manage allocation and spearhead the development of school cricket – President

Addressing the gathering at the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Colombo Colts Cricket Club held yesterday (08) President Ranil Wickremesinghe highlighted the need for an independent trust to manage the of Rs 1.5 billion allocated for the development of school cricket. He underscored the importance of transparency and efficiency in utilizing the funds and said that he expected to increase the allocation to Rs 2 billion in the future.
