Alms-giving organised by Heart To Heart Trust Fund

The Heart To Heart Trust Fund commemorated the completion of nine years of dedicated service to the country through SAVING THE LIVES of financially disadvantaged heart patients with the objective of “No one should die or suffer from heart disease in our country because of financial deprivation.”

The Volunteers and the Hospital staff organized an Alms-giving recently , at the Sri Jayawardenapura Nursing Training School for 32 Buddhist Priests and four Christian Clergy who have received surgery at the hands of Dr. Aruna Kapuruge and Dr. Rajitha De Silva.

A special aspect of this event is that it brings together the religious dignitaries who were supported by the Heart To Heart Trust Fund while giving us also the opportunity of sharing their joy and happiness.

Participation of around 50 patients who have undergone heart surgery at the hands of these two doctors was greatly appreciated.
