AKD stresses need to change political culture
JVP/NPP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who is currently visiting Sweden, says Sri Lanka’s crisis has arisen from the prevailing political culture, which needs a radical shake-up.
Addressing a group of Sri Lankan expatriates at Stockholm on Saturday, Dissanayake said it was only through political means that changes had to be introduced.
He said that there would be a presidential election between 17 Sept., and 17 Oct., and it would be a turning point in Sri Lanka.
