Air Seychelles begins direct service to Colombo from today
The Chairman of Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, on Tuesday, announced that Air Seychelles will commence direct flights between the Republic of Seychelles and Colombo starting today (21).
Major Gen. (Retd.) G.A. Chandrasiri told journalists in Colombo that the direct service is scheduled to operate twice a week, with a flight duration of approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes, AASL Chairman said.
Flights from Colombo to the Seychelles (HM263) will operate on Wednesdays and Sundays, with a departure time of 04:50 and an arrival time of 07:35, Chandrasiri said.
Flights from the Seychelles to Colombo (HM262) will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with an arrival time of 22:05 and a departure time of 03:50 the following day, he said.
This new service aims to provide convenient travel options for passengers seeking to travel between the Seychelles and Colombo, facilitating better connectivity and promoting tourism and business opportunities between the two countries, the AASL Chairman said.
