AGM of Photojournalists’ Association of Sri Lanka

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Photojournalists’ Association of Sri Lanka was held at the Public Library recently. Photojournalists representing all national newspapers were present at the event, where. the following were elected office bearers and committee members for 2020/21:

President – Chamila Karunarathne (EPA), Secretary – Ruwan Walpola (Daily FT), Treasurer – J. Weerasekara (Mawbima/Ceylon Today), Vice Treasurer – Eshan Fernando (Ada), Vice President – Kamal Bogoda (Divaina), Vice President – Saman Sri Wedage (Lake House), Assistant Secretary – Amila Gamage (Sunday Times) and Welfare Secretary – Pradeep Dilrukshana (Daily Mirror).

Committee Members: Akila Jayawardhana (Mawbima/Ceylon Today), Saman Abeysiriwardhana (Aruna), Thushara Fernando (Lake House), Sujatha Jayarathne (Divaina), Samantha Wilthera (Deshaya), Nisal Baduge (Daily Mirror), Nilan Maligaspe (Sunday Times), Lahiru Harshana (Lankadeepa), Nirmala Dhananjaya (Lanka Women), Malaka Weligodapola (Go magazine), Sajeewa Lakshan (Sirikatha), Sameera Weerasekara (Sunday Times) and Gayan Lasantha Amarasekara (Lankadeepa)
