Adithya shines with century as Maris Stella win  

Under 19 Division I Cricket  

Shane Adithya hogged the limelight with a century (105 in 112 balls, 13x4s, 3x6s) and put on an unbroken century stand for the sixth wicket with Kaveen Fernando to lead Maris Stella to five wickets victory over Mahinda in the Under 19 Division I Limited Overs tournament Tier ‘B’ match played at Negombo on Wednesday. Chasing a target of 229 runs to win Maris Stella were 103 for five wickets at one stage before the sixth wicket pair fought back to defy Mahinda.  Meanwhile, in a Tier ‘A’ match at Kurunegala, Maliyadeva restricted Gurukula to 161 runs to record a 58 runs win.
