Accountant of Kalmunai MC remanded

An accountant attached to the Kalmunai Municipal Council was arrested by the CID on Tuesday over an alleged fraud of Rs. 20m. He was remanded by Kalmunai Magistrate for two weeks.

When the fraud happened, the Kalmunai Municipal Council was ruled by the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress.
