Aalul Mahfil Union elects new office-bearers at 91st AGM

The Aalul Mahfil Union (AMU) held its 91st Annual General Meeting at the Padang auditorium in Slave Island.Allaam Ousman was elected as the new President of AMU which is the third oldest Malay organisation in the country after the Colombo Malay Cricket Club and Sri Lanka Malay Association.

Founded in 1932, Aalul Mahfil Union is a unique family group since members are descendants of the progeny of late Jumaron Tunku Ousmand.AMU fosters the spirit of Unity and Brotherhood among members by conducting cultural, religious, educational and sports events living up to their motto ‘Unity is a Blessing’.Following are the AMU office-bearers for the period 2023-2024: Patron: M.
