A new policy to solve the Human Elephant Conflict

Minister of Wildlife and Forest Resources Conservation Pavithradevi Wanniarachchi stated that a  new policy will be formulated to address the ongoing human – elephant conflict (HEC)

The Minister added that she hopes to address this with a program with short, medium and long-term goals.

She expressed these views on Wednesday (19) during a press conference themed ‘Collective Path to a Stable Country’ held at the Presidential Media Centre (PMC).
