Kerrigan La-Brooy, the Sri Lankan-born singer/songwriter, now a citizen of Australia, continues to make a lasting impression on music charts, all over the world.

His first single, ‘Just A Little Talk With Jesus,’ from his debut Country Gospel Album, ‘Thank You Precious Lord,’ reached #1 on the Australian TYGA-FM Country charts, in just four weeks, and stayed at the top for two consecutive weeks.

Kerrigan says it’s currently #1 on the World Top 40 Singles Chart, based on airplay.

He went on to say that it also reached #1 on the Gospel Express Charts and is still climbing the Country Express Charts.

The single also received Gold and Platinum status for airplay and made a thunder crashing entry into the Country Thunder Charts, at #1, ahead of acts from Australia, the USA, Canada and Europe, based on fan votes.

What’s more, after six weeks, in the Top 3, it returned to #1 for two more weeks. It also peaked at #12 on the European Charts.

His second single, titled ‘New Hallelujah,’ stormed to #1, on the Gospel Express Charts, in just three weeks, and has achieved both Gold and Platinum status for airplay.

The song is currently at #13 on the Australian charts, after just two weeks, and zoomed into the Country Thunder World Charts, at #2.

His first single, ‘Just A Little Talk With Jesus.’ is still #5 on the same chart.

Kerrigan has a third single out, on the European market, titled ‘Oh, Lonesome Me’, off an upcoming album, still to be named.

‘Oh, Lonesome Me’ entered the European Charts, at #25, and the video of the song was played on the European Top 20 Countdown as a First Play, signifying that it’s going to make the Top 20.

Kerrigan says he appreciates all the Radio DJs, and loyal Listeners, for contributing to his world #1 status, “but, most of all, I thank the Good Lord for His ongoing favour.”
