Managing Director of Celcius Solutions wins Dynamic Entrepreneur of the Year
Kamal Dole, the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Celcius Solutions (PVT) Ltd. was recently awarded with the Dynamic Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the CEO Awards 2022. Launched by the CEO Magazine of Sri Lanka, the CEO Awards is a platform to recognize top performing leaders and achievers in 12 distinguished categories which are designed specifically to acknowledge all extraordinary executive and business leaders.
Sharing his thoughts, Kamal Dole stated, “I am deeply honoured to have the title of Dynamic Entrepreneur of the Year bestowed upon me this year. As the saying goes, a good leader is only as good as their team, so I wish to thank each and every member of the Celcius family, for their dedication and support. This award is a testament to their hard work, as I would not have been able to achieve this award without them.”
Standing on the foundation of a career that spans many years, he began his journey as a Junior Sales Executive and rose through the ranks across multiple fields and companies. Upon realising a great passion for apparel, together with his partner and current Chairman Charith Goonetilleke, he launched Celcius Solutions (PVT) Ltd., a 100% Sri Lankan company that specializes in luxury bedding products for domestic and regional markets.
Over the years, Celcius Solutions (PVT) Ltd., has become the number 1 brand in bedding, bed linen, towels and banquet linen in Sri Lanka produced at its state-of-the-art facility in Seeduwa. Its portfolio of clients includes leading local and international hotel chains, luxury boutique hotels, leading private hospitals and key government institutes. Celcius reinforced its presence in the Maldives through a partnership established with a leading hotel supplies company and is further strengthened with a dedicated team promoting Celcius products to resorts across the islands. The company also retails via its own chain of concept stores, over 200 re-sale partners across Sri Lanka and a number of online stores.
