Astron Crowned Champions and 1st Runner-up at the 28th PPA Quiz Nite 2022
Astron Limited, a leading Sri Lankan pharmaceutical manufacturing and marketing company emerged as the champions and 1st runners-up at the 28th PPA Quiz Nite 2022 held recently at the Marino Beach Hotel Colombo, organized by the Pharma Promoters Association (PPA).
The Pharma Promoters Association was chartered in 1986. The Association has been successful in achieving a true sense of togetherness amongst the pharmaceutical marketing fraternity keeping in line with the vision of fostering goodwill and fellowship through sports, social and knowledge building activities. PPA Quiz Nite is a highly looked forward to and prestigious annual event in the Pharma Industry calendar.
Astron has created a milestone for the company, by winning the championship trophy five times consecutively. Astron also holds the record for winning the championship trophy the most number of times from the inception of the PPA Quiz Nite.
Udaya Dimbulagedara, Kapila Wijeratne, Tharindu Rupasinghe, Faizal Harris, and Ms. Mehenaaz Asmone were the members of the winning team of Astron while Hiran Weliwitigoda, Asanga Panagoda, Rasika Meegasdeniya, Manjula Attampola, and Kasun Alwis were the members of the 1st runners-up team.
Astron Limited is a Sri Lankan owned company which researches, develops, manufactures, markets and distributes a wide range of healthcare products. The company was incorporated in 1956 creating a milestone in the pharmaceutical industry by setting up the first pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in the country.
