NCE to conduct 30th Annual Export Awards
Focusing on the upcoming Annual Export Awards, the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka officially launched the Award Application, opening up the gateway for exporters to apply. The NCE is planning to conduct its 30th Export Awards Ceremony with glamour and grandeur on 02nd December 2022 at Hotel Shangri-La, Colombo.
This prestigious event, recognizing the excellence in performance by Sri Lankan Exporters in the international market has achieved national significance as the most looked forward to event in the business calendar of Sri Lanka. The Chamber is proud to announce that this event has been conducted without any disruption for the last 29 years’ even amidst numerous challenges.
The Chamber is celebrating the Pearl Anniversary of the Exports Awards this year, completing 30 years of success, under the chosen theme “Recognizing, Inspiring and Strengthening” – a 30 years of unbroken commitment to Sri Lankan Exporters. The NCE by recognizing the best performers in exports have immensely contributed towards creating a positive mindset and uplifting spirits of fellow exporters of this nation. In ensuring the highest professional standards in the evaluation process of applications, the Chamber has implemented improvements through close monitoring and analyzing the current needs of the Global Market.
Last year, the NCE introduced the NCE Challenge Trophy” awarded in respect of organizations who perform ethical trading practices under Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large categories. This year too, winners will be conferred this award as well as other sectoral awards and special awards.
The application closing date will be on 20th September 2022. Applicants who will be applying under General Award Categories, are able to submit separate applications for the NCE Challenge Trophy to win Special Awards for the “Best Ethical Trading Exporter of the year”.
