Engenuity Ai a Global Centre of Excellence hosted a fireside chat themed “the Divergent” last week.
The event was well attended by all major business stakeholders from all industry verticals in Colombo.
It highlighted the fact that Sri Lanka and its business communities can thrive and leap frog rest of the emerging economies by adopting digital as a philosophy, remaining relevant and profitable driving accelerated global scale innovations locally. This as highlighted by the eminent panel was the most viable solution to ensure Sri Lanka is able to bridge the present economic crisis as well as the most potent tool to hyper grow of the GDP.
But unlike the traditional approach which involves large upfront investments, long implementation timelines and even longer time to receive tangible benefits the panel explored a radical and an agile approach. This approach does not require large upfront investments or having the need to sort out the complex infra structure or it’s maturity, but help both top government & corporate executives to have a view of the end state from day one by using cutting edge digital innovation techniques, accelerators & most importantly a new way of thinking about the business journeys offered by global centers of excellence for Digital Design &Innovations like Engenuity Ai.
It was highlighted that Digital &Ai is not a choice but a catalyst for new business’s, products & services for the post pandemic era. This fact was exemplified by some of the cutting-edge Ai driven technology products on display at the event. Among these products were the “Lucid Engen” – A Smart Document Processing Platform that can not only detect& scan any type of document but can also on its own understand the content & intent by using both Natural Language processing &Machine Learning. The “Engen-Fix” the perfect solution for vehicle insurance companies helping them asses vehicle damage through Computer Vision, Machine learning technologies and helping compute value & offer reporting in mere seconds directly to client, The “Agro Tensor” a plantation management platform that helps offer real-time monitoring, control and analytics of the plants and automates responses from facilitating water to fertilizer ratio mixes, predicting plants growth, yields,and simulating the plants possible pathologicalreactions based on extrinsic and intrinsicchanges. This platform uses a combination of advance statistical analytics, AIOT, ML, CV and optimization algorithms to create this Plant Digital Twin.
