Daraz and ProMate partner to bring smiles to children this holiday season
This holiday season, Daraz collaborated with ProMate to make a difference in the lives of children at the Bethlehem Crèche in Colombo. This collaboration showcases the significant impact that can be made within communities through meaningful partnerships between online marketplaces and retailers.
Highlighting the transformative power of collaboration in community development, Daraz and ProMate brought smiles to over 40 children from low-income families, ranging from ages 2 to 15, at an event held at the crèche premises. Daraz and ProMate representatives engaged with the children in spirited games, shared the festive spirit through Christmas Carols, and gifted each child with a specially curated pack of educational toys, school bags and other essential school supplies for 2024.
Utilising the latest in lifestyle based online shoppertainment, Daraz also hosted a Live Mega Show on the Daraz platform during their 12.12 Grand Christmas Sale and matched every purchase on the show with a donation to children in need.
