Colombo bound train derails on Batticaloa line

The Colombo bound ‘Pulathisi Express’ from Batticaloa has derailed after colliding with a wild elephant  in  Hathareskotuwa (between Gal Oya and Habarana)  on Friday (13) morning.

Trains operating on the Batticaloa Line will be delayed as a result.
