31st night in Munich…

Singer/beautician Kay Jay Gunesekere, who is now based in Germany, says she will be doing 31st night in Munich.

She will have for company Channa Galappaththi and Udaya Shantha and the trio will be ushering the New Year at a hotel, owned by a Sri Lankan, whose wife is German.

Channa, by the way, was a member of the group Friends.

Says Kay Jay: “I’m going to Munich for the very first time and I’m eagerly looking forward to performing at this beautiful hotel. And, guess what! The hotel is fully booked for the season, I’m told.”

Kay Jay: First trip to Munich

Kay Jay went on to say that the opportunity to perform at this hotel came her way, through her friend, Michael Jayaweera.

“Thanks to Michael, I’m having an opportunity to finally visit Munich as I’ve always wanted to checkout that scene.”

Kay Jay says she is glad to be back in the showbiz world again.

“Looking forward to a great 2024, and to be very much a part of the music scene, once again.”
