20A will pave way for authoritarian rule – SJB

Samagi Jana Balavegaya lawmaker Mijibur Rahman yesterday (3) told The Island that the 20th Amendment sought to take the country back to 2015. The Colombo District MP flayed the SLPP government for causing irreparable damage to democracy by granting the President dictatorial powers.

He that the SLPP had brazenly abused its two-thirds majority.
