1220 School Clusters and 350 Supervisory School Boards under initial phase of educational administration reforms – Minister of Education

Education Minister Dr. Susil Premajayantha said that arrangements are in place to establish 1220 school clusters across the country and 350 school boards are to be formed to oversee their operations under the initial phase of educational administration reforms.

Dr. Premajayantha said that the necessary cabinet memorandum outlining these reforms was to be submitted soon.

The Minister made these remarks during a press briefing held at the Presidential Media Centre (PMC) under the theme of ‘Collective Path to a Stable Country’ today (14)
